Managing Director

Erica Wicomb, founder of a Management Consultancy dedicated to creating Shared Value and Sustainable Programmes on a national scale since 2016, is a seasoned professional with over 30 years of corporate experience.  Her client base includes large insurance companies like Sasria Soc Ltd, the largest independent Black-owned investment management business, as well as the Bryan Habana Foundation. At the start of 2024, together with her business partner, Mohammed Vadee, they launched TrainWise Financial Consulting. A training solutions business to empower individuals and organisations in the financial industry.

Erica excels in Programme Development and Management, designing tailored initiatives to meet diverse organisational needs. She ensures seamless implementation through End-to-end Programme Facilitation and conducts thorough Programme Impact Assessments to gauge effectiveness.

 

Erica promotes local economic development through innovative strategies, particularly by empowering South African youth to start businesses and achieve economic independence.

 

Her focus on strategic sustainability aims to create lasting impact, fostering partnerships that enhance economic, social, and environmental well-being nationwide. As Chair of the Siyafunda Education Foundation since 2018, she advances robotic education in under-resourced schools, embodying her core philosophy:

 

"through partnership, anything is possible."

Mohammed Vadee is an experienced Senior Executive with over two decades of diversified experience across industries, excelling in General Management, Operations, Information Technology, Digital Transformation, and Business Development. Throughout his career he has demonstrated leadership, both nationally and internationally, overseeing corporate state business units and managing large teams. Among his notable accomplishments, Mohammed led the digital transformation for one of Africa’s largest insurance companies, Old Mutual Ltd, amidst the global pandemic, and successfully managed its South African retail operations segment. Additionally, he played pivotal roles in significant projects such as the Mozal Aluminium Smelter and the Coega Industrial Development Zone, some of Southern Africa’s largest projects.

Driven by his passion for innovation and entrepreneurship, Mohammed has founded specialised financial advisory ventures aimed at revolutionising financial services. His expertise is further underscored by his board memberships and academic achievements, complemented by executive development in Corporate Governance, General Management, and Programme Management.


Mohammed remains dedicated to fostering innovation and driving organisational transformation to enhance stakeholder outcomes, while also nurturing the growth of future leaders.  He believes we should:
